“We live in a highly divisive country at a highly divisive time”. Have you heard this one before? Should I continue or have you heard enough? Honestly, it is my belief that the only moment we will ever rightfully be able claim it “enough” will be when we’ve resolved all inequity and inequality. This series tears down walls, exposing slivers of landscape along borders with no social stratification. Picasso’s goats live with rattlesnakes, rattlesnakes live with Saints, our iconic Marilyn Monroe identifies as ‘They’, Sven and his husband find themselves marginalized no longer, science is not questioned as false, Andrew Jackson is peed on, mean people are called out, and fossil fools don’t exist. Oh the folly of what could be if we only we would talk to one another with civility and respect. And, even though you may have heard that one before, I feel we all must hear it again and again and again!
