April 30: Time for a new and better attitude. During this past month I seem to have fallen into deep depression when listening every day to the inequality and injustice that exists in this world. Even though I have always been totally aware, it has seemed so blantant during this pandemic that it simply has made me want to cry all the time. However, today I woke and thought … crying isn’t going to change anything, and it is by far better to remain present and strong, and continue to fight for what I know is right then become hamstrung and unable to make a difference. So my conclusion at the end of this month, and the end of this project, is that … we must stick together through the storm. While it may be years before we see the horizon of actual change, it will be worth the difficult journey when we finally land ashore.
